GRBS has been servicing our account for 45 years and I have been the main contact for 25 of those years.  We appreciate their commitment to innovative ideas and technology that always seem to be ahead of the curve. They bring ideas to the table before we ask, and they are always friendly and responsive.  I’m sure we have saved tens of thousands of dollars by having a consistent contractor who knows our buildings inside and out instead of switching every couple of years. GRBS began as a Window Cleaning Company back in 1915, when gas lamps and horse and carriages in the streets of "downtown" Grand Rapids caused windows to darken with grime. In the 1930's, GRBS started servicing office buildings in the Grand Rapids area. Remember when the biggest contributor of dirt back  then was cigarette ash and smoke? In 1954, Arleen started with GRBS breaking all glass ceilings for Women in the Workplace. Old Kent, now 5/3 Bank began using the services of GRBS in 1965, and we've been there ever since! Rex started in 1975. Rex started Kalamazoo and Lansing Building Services in 1980, and diversified our services to include manufacturing sites, government buildings, airports and colleges. We even had a Security Division and a Deli (what where we thinking?) Karin joined in 1989 and expanded GRBS into Chicago, Indiana and the rest of the State of Michigan in 1999 (and closed the deli). GRBS has a long history for Excellence in Customer Service and Retention because Quality and Service come first. That remains true today. Check out some of out long term relationships.
