Custodial Services in a School Environment

Working with children:
It is our responsibility to have safe and productive individuals on site who behave  appropriately around children. We take that responsibility very seriously.

Screening Process:
All employees must be pre-screened for criminal background and social security to ensure they are legally able to work in the U.S. (or their criminal background is invalid). Drug screens are also performed. These checks are to be conducted annually to ensure status of staff member remains crime and drug free. We cannot be too careful in our screening as we are working around children.

Customer Service Training:
Employees will receive training in appropriate communication with faculty and children (polite, friendly, courteous, and helpful) but NOT to approach or engage the faculty or children in any other communication. This will gain the professional respect we need to successfully be accepted.

Security Procedures:
Employees are trained in providing not only quality cleaning, but also quality security. Employees are educated that if they should violate any of these policies, they can be terminated immediately.
 - Employees are checked in and out of a facility by their supervisor on every shift
 - Nothing is to be taken out of a facility that the employee did not bring in.
 - If a client gives an employee an item to take home, it is checked by the supervisor of that facility and the security system of that facility for verification.
 - Nothing is removed from the trash receptacles at the facility.
 - Employees are instructed to report any office that was open when they arrived so we can assist our clients with their own security measures.
 - An employee never opens anything except a door or special item instructed by their supervisor. An employee never opens desk drawers, file cabinets or any other item.
 - If any customer/employee seeks to gain admittance to the facility through our staff after hours the employee is instructed to get their supervisor, before any admittance into the building.

Uniformed/Badge Employees
All employees will be in GRBS polo shirts and khaki pants.
